Stopped in around lunch time and was seated right away. The atmosphere is nice and inviting, the staff, friendly and attentive. Many delicious brunch items on the menu and it was hard to choose but ended up with the Pork Belly Fritatta. The pork was tasty as was the Honey Sriracha sauce. The eggs were a little cool and the potatoes could have been cooked a little more for my taste but overall it was a good meal. Will definitely be back to try some other items that sounded great.
The food here is absolutely delicious. The menu makes it very difficult to select just one thing because there are so many cool options. The reason for 4 instead of 5 is solely service. We had empty drinks for the majority of our brunch and were only checked on twice during our time there. Minus the service the atmosphere here and food are worth it!
Wow! This place is a gem. Great energy smiling staff, smiling customers, and bright and airy interior. We had the best real deal Belgian Waffle I have had in town. Crispy, batter is light but crispy with the surprising sugar pieces in it, just like in Belgium. Service was friendly, although I we did have to wait a bit longer for the food than we would have liked, we did go during their busy time on Sunday for brunch, so they were slammed. That just gave us an excuse to have another cup of coffee. We also had the farm hand omelet and the Crab Breakfast Hash. Both were well balanced and not heavy. The crab breakfast hash/bowl was the star though. It had peppers and onions that were sweet and smokey, along with corn for crunch. Seriously well executed, the flavor was complex... Whoever came up with that dish is a genius, poblano peppers? Who would have thought... Coming back again to this place!
Its just ok. The location is nice and the ambiance is nice. Its clean and bright. But the service was middle of the road. Forgot half our order even after asking twice for it. She finally brought us the last of the order, after she brought us the bill! Coffee cups were often empty. And the food is decent but not great. The French toast was good but the potatoes are soggy, thin and not good at all. The avocado toast was soggy. And the grits were bland and barely creamy. The food is definitely over priced for the quality you get. It was a nice place to sit and catch up with friends. I've been a few times and I keep hoping next time will be better and I'm left a bit disappointed each time. I would only go again to meet up with friends because of its convenient location. Its definitely not at the top of my list of places to go.
