Friendly staff, nice place and in the right part of town. Wings are good. Ribs looked good. Sides are awful. What is that Cole slaw made of? Too much vinegar in greens and baked beans. The seasoning on the fries should be optional.
I ordered takeout from here on a weekday before dinner rush time. Pickup time was short and the lady working was friendly.
The food was good! I got the Co combo for 1, in which you get to pick 3 meats, 2 sides, and a drink for $15. That sounds like a great deal!! When I opened up my box I was honestly shocked at the skimpy amount of meat that I had - like how could this even be three different meats.
As far as the specifics on the food, the house beans (with peppers and onions) are great, and the Jalepeno Mac n Cheese was good too! The pulled chicken was really dry, the pulled pork was okay, but the BRISKET WAS AMAZING!!!
Although it seemed a little light on the food for what I was expecting, overall it was good food. I'm definitely interested in trying other things on their menu!
The brisket is great. It's the best I have had outside of Texas. I tried 4 sauces and they were all really good. The staff is friendly. The way the place is decorated is cool. It looked like they were working on some outdoor seating.
This place has great potential! The sauces we tried were great and with some tweaks the food will be outstanding! I am only critical because I think this place can really succeed! The Mac and cheese and pulled pork were very tasty. The brisket was a little salty and the chicken a little dry, but both were still pretty good. We felt like they should bring a “sauce caddy” when the food was brought to us, this would reduce the amount of disposable cups they would need to use, and give you all the options right on your table. Speaking of tables, it felt kind of empty. I think they should add a bar style seating in front of the kitchen area, the hallway seemed like a wasted space. They’ll need the extra seats once people try it out and figure out how good it is. Overall, the value was good and the portions were more than enough!
You can tell all the food is made from scratch! From the sides to the brisket and chicken it’s all so good. I especially loved the Mac n cheese! Corn bread is really good too it’s not dry at all. The place is really clean and the staff is extremely friendly. Check this place out!!
