La Huasteca Mexican Restaurant

The food is delicious but I'm not sure why I waited an hour to get to-go food when two tables that came in after me were finished eating by the time my food came out.

I'm still waiting as I write this and really I just want my money back so I can leave already.

I'm very lucky to have this place close to my home. I love their food. Service is pretty fast and they do a booming call in and pick up business. Prices are great and portions are honestly a bit bigger than I should eat in one sitting, but I'll gladly suffer through ;).

Great fresh food, friendly service, and cozy atmosphere. Very affordable. I had the tamales, which had a nice spicy flavor. My partner had a burrito, which she said was great. It was very big and she reported it had cilantro, avocado, and tomato. She said it seemed like a pound of ground beef, too.

The food was nice and hot, the service was great.
It is what it says it is- a humble little restaurant with limited seating.
That being said, the menu is very limited. If you’re expecting a lot of choices, look elsewhere. But if you’re looking for just simple, good-tasting Mexican, this might be your spot.
Not expensive, but not super cheap either. Overall, a good experience.
