Westsider Cafe

This is my wife and my favorite restaurant in the city. Their food is amazing. The staff is always friendly and their pick up option is easy and fast. My wife loves their vegetarian skillet and their breakfast meals are fresh, plentiful, and tasty.

A shining jewel of Polish/Diner/Cafe goodness on Grand Rapids' west side, and a true monument to our Midwestern ability to go unnecessarily hard in the paint on breakfast.

Come here. Eat the food. Drink the coffee. You'll enjoy yourself.

Been a few years since I had been to the Westsider, but had to be back in GR for some meetings. The 8th Street (Cuban Eggs) is still. Awesome. Great flavors. May be may favorite breakfast meal. Fantastic staff. Go visit and enjoy.

As you walk in the door, you are enveloped in invisible cloud of goodness. The air is redolent with the aroma fresh baked bread, sweet cinnamon and joy. The menu has a good assortment of different and interesting dishes and of the breakfast standards. My husband got the cinnamon French toast. He loved it! It was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of crispiness and softness. I got the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were freshly made and the sausage gravy was the best I've had. The restaurant is clean, their covid 19 precautions are spot on and their staff is friendly and efficient.

Anything but a 5 star review is a joke!!!! This place is amazing!!!
