“So glad I got the opportunity to visit the Speedy Bear Diner located in Irons Michigan. It was great to see the complete renovation of this diner under new ownership. The addition of a drive through, along with state of the art cooking equipment, delivered hot food to my table within 5-10 minutes of placing my order. The staff at Speedy Bear Diner is working very hard to serve their guests with friendly smiles and great service. I was looking forward to writing a review of the diner because I knew their menu was extensive and I payed attention to other orders being placed by customers. Everything from burgers, to pizza, and the special of the day was a meat loaf dinner. The staff did an awesome job with the orders and the food was great. My double beef mushroom burger was juicy and delicious. Cooked just right and served hot. I highly recommend a visit to Speedy Bear Diner. I can’t wait to go back and try the breakfast menu. “My wife had the half smoked chicken and it was very good for a small town bar, very very good. Service was good. I had shrimp and fries and they were also good. Their cheeseburger soup was quite impressive as well. The bar was very very loud though. Louder than most. Thus four stars not five.”

“I’m sorry, for any bad experiences that anyone has here. It is totally out of my hands.There are a lot of things going on at the moment. Unfortunately, the usual kitchen and severing staff aren’t at the cafe, nor am I. It is under new management at the moment. I have worked for Joe, for 14 years and longer for the cafe. It saddens me that all this is happening, the cafe has always been my home. The staff and I have prided ourselves on giving the public the best food and service to our ability.
