Owners checked on us too and were on the floor constantly. One of the owners even gave our little one some ice cream! Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to our vocal toddler. “Took my girlfriend out tonight. We went to La Fonda and it was fantastic! She got the wet burrito, I got the crispy chicken burrito. Chips and salsa were free unlike the last Mexican place we went to. My burrito was covered in queso and I loved it. Then we shared fried ice cream. Staff was friendly, everything was great, the place was very clean. Could not be happier with the experience!”

“First visit and we were impressed. Friendly waitress. Great service! Two sandwiches and one omelette which were all yummy! Daughter had the French dip and I had the BLT omelette. The burgers coming out of the kitchen looked delicious!! The only reason for 4 stars instead of five is for their ladies’ room. It’s in desperate need of a remodel with broken paper holders and makeshift tile repairs. Adding it to our “we’ll be back” list.”

“Heads up- you pay for chips and salsa. It is stated on the menu so you cannot fault them for that... Anyway! The wet burrito supreme is my go-to order. Very moist, and very large portions- only complaint it seems to be lacking in the cheese dept but I can move past that. Very comfortable, laid back restaurant- hours arent great (They close at 8 during the week, and are closed Sunday and Monday). Always have good service.”

“I love this Tubby's! I hadn't had a Tubby's sub in years and decided to try it. I am glad I did but now I'm officially a Tubby's addict. I just sent my husband to get me another because it was so good. The restaurant is clean and the workers are great. I was asking questions because I couldn't decide and melissa was super nice. I don't remember the young girl's name who made the sub but she made an awesome sub. I will definitely come back again!”

“I have mixed feelings about this McDonald's. They are extremely slow with their service and more often then not you have to pull up and wait for your food, which is annoying when your in a hurry but on the other hand, if your having to wait for it to be made at least you know its fresh and it hasn't been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. My suggestion is if you want fresh cooked fast food then this is your place, if your in a huge hurry and you want to grab something quick and get on your way then this definitely is the place for you.”

Wonderfully fresh and tasty with different options, not just greasy fried American Chinese food drenched in that mysterious syrupy brown sauce that I think must be a concoction of MSG, soy sauce and sugar. For nearly as much as one would spend at McDonald's these days, I find this to be a much better deal. Some buffet places expect a 20% tip for doing nothing where the plates pile up on your table and drinks are not refilled, whereas this place the waitresses, who may not speak much English, are still much more attentive and efficient. Great dining experience. Worth the 40-minute drive.”
