Joe's Friendly Tavern

Here we are, 1500 miles from home, in a town of 375 people to enjoy the national seashore. Who would have thought that we would have such a delicious burger in such a small town. I had the Joe's empire ale to go with my bacon burger. My wife had an olive burger which she loved. Our server was a local named Markie. She smiled constantly and brought the sun out! Fantastic service! What a great lunch, on a great day in this great little town

I'm shocked to see negative reviews about the service. Our server, Bonnie, was super friendly and thorough with their menu. It's a tad pricey, but you get what you pay for. The food is delicious and very fresh!

Best hamburgers in the area. Service is great too. We had a great waiter. He met all our needs and kept us up to date on the football game.

Joes is one of those little diners that is lost in the hustle and bustle of modern life. Kind of a throwback to simpler times. The food isn't overly fancy. But it is damn good basic food at a reasonable price. The service is exceptionally fast. Not to mention one of the best cups of coffee around.

This place had amazing food and super fast service. We stopped in after a day at the beach. The kids got burgers and loved them. The wife got a chicken salad that was pretty average. I had the French Dip and it was awesome. Be sure to try the tater tots. Food was served super fast and the service was great.
