“We went there for dinner with my family of six on the Friday after Labor Day. Friendly staff. Very attentive. Somebody had recommended the chickpea salad and it was amazing. The meatballs are superlative. And we had three pizzas, the pepperoni, a cheese and the potato and raclette. All A+. I would rate it as one of the top restaurants on Leelanau peninsula”

“Love the food and I also loved what they did with the place. There are various food options like Thai, Chinese, noodle dishes, and they’re also very kid friendly. There boba is tremendous if you get a flavor I recommend brown sugar milk tea it’s not dairy free though but the strawberry milk tea is what i would recommend because it’s dairy free but these two flavors they are very good. What I love about this place is the food it’s marvelous I would recommend the generals chicken it’s savory and it has a crisp to it and it had a long lasting tangy taste to it I love it. The service was tremendous they were very greeting I felt so welcomed. Me and my family we love how the table was set up it was so beautiful I loved the decor and I’m so thankful we have Asian food back in Sutton bay.”

“Loved this little eating spot! The cheese bombs were a lovely veggie option and surprisingly became my favorite food of our week long trip! The family loved the Epic dog! We even went back for some fried dessert treats 🤤 The honey on top is dynamite!”

“While not modern, our room was spacious and clean. Only a 4 minute bike ride from the start of the TART trail, and right on Suttons Bay, making it a great stay for anyone feeling adventurous. The owners were kind and let us keep our kayaks on the beach. The outdoor space is large and well maintained with plenty of seating. The front gardens have lavender, making the whole place smell amazing. We didn’t eat at the bistro but we did get a drink and enjoyed the mellow jazz that played throughout the lawn. We are already looking forward to coming back.”

“We stayed in a two-bedroom, pet friendly, cottage. The location was ideal. About a 5 minute walk to town and conveniently located to many other attractions in the area. The rustic cottage was clean and the kitchen adequately stocked. The king bed was very comfortable and the bedding of better quality. Two free-standing a/c units kept the rooms comfortable. Lots of areas nearby to walk our two dogs that traveled with us. Although there was an outdoor picnic table, a couple of patio chairs would have been nice. So bring your own. Also, bring BBQ tools if you think you might use the grill. Staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant/bar on the property was only seconds away. The food and service were both good.”

“Had a fantastic meal at Riverside Inn. The service was impeccable and the food was awesome. The salad was with made with fresh produce and the fillet was cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the ambiance and the bar is great with a large offering of liquors. We had three different wines during our meal and all were great with our meals. It is a must visit.”

“We loved everything about this winery! The setting is beautiful. When we arrived for our tasting, we were immediately served a lovely glass of wine. Then the tasting staff hand picked our tasting based on our thoughts of the first glass, as well as our other wine preferences. We felt like royalty! The wine, staff and setting were so impressive that we stayed for dinner. The wood fired pizza and a vegetable/dip appetizer were delicious! We left with a lot of wine, and smiles on our faces! We will be back!”

“We enjoyed our time visiting with Susan. We spent 2 hours partaking of the Small Plates lunch for our 27th anniversary. Learned a bunch. The food was gourmet, locally sourced and better than restaurant quality. She has a real gift for cuisine.”

“Cool new place in town to try! It was quite busy for a Thursday night. Service and staff were very friendly and attentive. Prices are a little higher and range from 23-38 an entree. My fish and chips were pretty good at $23. I would have given it five stars if the environment was a little quieter. The design of the place is very pretty, but the hard surfaces carry a lot of noise. Some well positioned noise dampeners would go a long way. Conversations were quite challenging during dinner.”

“Amazing lunch of pierogi and mushroom soup at a food truck in Cedar, Michigan! The owners were so nice and even brought us a sample of their smoked Canadian bacon!”

“This place is every bit a slice of Americana as you expect from a little roadside motel like this. But with very little effort could be a million times better. No AC but also no ceiling fans and the smell of smoke outside is a bit too much to leave the windows open. The rooms are huge and they at least have clean, white sheets on the beds. A little effort in the layout/upgrade department could make it a great value. Our TV didn’t turn on but til we realized it was well past most peoples bedtime. Not much of a drive to all the major things in town but out enough to be quiet and secluded. Clean enough but just clearly has not been updated in 20 years. We wanted to do the classic diner breakfast but honestly the prices were not classic diner breakfast prices.”

“Fried! Flavors you wont get anywhere else! Delicious! Shaved beef sandwich, they got it! Walleye sandwich, fantastic! Fries to cross your eyes! Get the potatoes with a side of aioli, watch the river drift by! Don’t forget the chocolate pudding, homemade and off the charts!”

“I had a great pizza here last year. This time not quite as good but the staff confused me with the wine. We asked for a wine list and we were told they don't have one. When we asked what they had we were told they have all kinds with no more explanation. We ended up drinking $12/glass house red which we are still clueless as to what it was. It just seemed strange to us for a place with "vineyard" in the name to be like that. I thought I remember actually tasting different kinds of wine here in the past.”

“Absolutely awesome place. They have a wide selection of wines and a gorgeous tasting room that was recently renovated. They also have live music often. You can sit inside or outside. Plenty of room. Have a pizza too if that strikes your fancy. Reasonably priced wine and a great place to check out.”

“Absolutely amazing dinner!! Chef Eric delivers a superb dining experience in this beautiful venue. Starting with the mussels in cream sauce and beef tartare then a unique salad chock full of local ingredients. Entrees were out of this world, lamb chops and potato crusted halibut. Finished off with chocolate soup for dessert, so creatively delicious. And of course the wine selections are top notch. We love dining like this and Nittolo's did not disappoint!”

“We ordered a bunch of food last night. It was delicious. I went in to pick up my order everyone (the owners) were wearing masks. As I was paying they informed me that they could sell to go margaritas. Oh my gosh. They were awesome as well. (I did not taste test on the way home as I was instructed). But had there been a straw in my cup I would’ve been tempted. We loved our dinner and experience. We have left overs for tonight. 💕”
