The pasty is a non traditional shape. However the bison pasty was very good. I received more than enough gravy and the order of tots was huge. The personal was very friendly. The price was high. And even though the pasty was excellent, the price might make me second guess another visit.

Speaking to the diner only. I am old school and do not prefer pasties with carrot. I also prefer a thicker crust. Based upon the glowing reviews we got some to take home. In the meantime, while at the diner we ordered the Pastie Omelet. IT TOTALLY RULED! If you like carrot, these pasties are carrot forward in a way that I didn’t get in the omelet. If you like thin dough, this one has that. Thinnest I think I have had.
So I STRONGLY recommend the pastie omelet. I don’t dis the pastie, but factor in my observations about the pasties if you are particular or want to know what to expect. This place is great. Hope they get the motel sold. The staff are amazing kind, competent, and neighborly.

Restaurant... Best pasty Ive had in my life. I'm not a connoisseur or a yooper, but I've been having them whole life as a troll. The bread pudding was incredible. Don't let just drive past this little gem. It ain't fancy, but man is the food great.

I stopped on impulse on my way to Cut Bank Bridge on a Sunday afternoon. Carla was so helpful and friendly. I had a delightful conversation conversation with a gentleman on his way to Montana to see his grandkids. I took the advice of Carla and ordered the chicken soup and a pastie. I was hesitant since I have been trying every pastie around and had not found them tasty. This one was different! I won't order anymore unless it is here. The soup was full of chicken and vegetables. The broth, so flavorful. On impulse, as I was leaving, I ordered a serving of bread pudding to go. This is another dish that most people can not make well. I ate it after finishing the trails. It was very much worth the calories!
