Kyoto Shelby Japanese Steakhouse

I have been a regular at the original location for years and have some family on this side of town so we tried the new location.

Just as great of an experience as always! The food was delicious and cooked perfectly and the chef gave us a fun experience where another patron was celebrating their birthday.

The sushi was excellent as well. The restaurant is much newer and huge, can accommodate lots of parties and they have a private event space as well. Very clean and a great place for a fun hibachi grill night out.

I had an amazing dining experience at Kyoto Shelby Japanese Steakhouse! The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.

The food was outstanding—fresh and flavorful sushi, perfectly cooked hibachi steak and deliciously seasoned fried rice.

This place looks good inside and out. When you walk in, you're greet and have the option to have a table with a chef or with just a waitress. The food was great and cooked as ordered. I ordered the Teriyaki steak, and the one I was had something that was all fried. They both comes with soup and salad. Their English isn't all that good, but they understood enough to fix our mistake. I recommend.

Was invited here for an intimate wedding with 18 people. Booked the small party room, I believe it can seat 30-40. Service was quick. Portions were generous. I ordered hibachi chicken which came with soup and salad. I also ordered a kids bento for my three year old(a good variety to try). She really enjoyed the show and got a cute blow up headband/crown from the hibachi chef. Good family friendly environment. Great place to host a more causal but intimate occasion. Highly recommend.

Kyoto Shelby is my favorite Japanese dining experience anywhere!
The restaurant is beautiful! Our party enjoyed both sushi and teppanyaki table- each was absolutely outstanding. The sushi boat was amazing. I ordered the scallops and filet mignon- each cooked to perfection. Tony was our hibachi chef and he is the BEST! So much fun and tricks I had never seen anywhere to engage and delight! Great lunch menu, too. Customer service and hospitality was excellent and I look forward to coming back to Kyoto Shelby again & again!!
