“5 stars! Very clean, friendly staff and delicious food! Highly recommend! I got the build your own bowl and it was fantastic! The veggies were crisp and delicious, the chicken shawarma was delicious and the hummus and tzatziki and other sauces were great! The lemonades were very refreshing and the staff is very kind and walked us through everything and asked how we enjoyed it! The food station was very clean and so was the drink area and the dining area looks very modern and was tidy! It was so good I’m looking forward to coming back!”

“I have been a regular at the original location for years and have some family on this side of town so we tried the new location. Just as great of an experience as always! The food was delicious and cooked perfectly and the chef gave us a fun experience where another patron was celebrating their birthday. The sushi was excellent as well. The restaurant is much newer and huge, can accommodate lots of parties and they have a private event space as well. Very clean and a great place for a fun hibachi grill night out.”

“I really like the colors they chose in the coffee beanery. The deep brown and blue colors really puts me into a relaxed mood. The staff is very friendly and they have a lot of flavor options. I ordered the white raspberry mocha drink and requested half the amount of flavor to decrease sugar content and it still tasted really delicious. Definitely will be back for more coffee and to taste the sandwiches.”

One of the owners came out to make sure we were happy. We own a small Colombian restaurant just 2 miles away with the same atmosphere.... just different food. “Visited the restaurant on their 2nd or 3rd day of being opened! There are definitely some kinks to be worked out, so I will not be harsh in my review! I loved the ambiance and the small changes made to the layout as I was a frequent patron of the previous vendor. We were seated immediately! I am not sure why we were offered a booth for 5-6 people and it was only 2 of us. We asked if we could sit at the tabletop. She allowed us to sit there! We were given food menus and water. But nothing was handed to us for alcoholic beverages, so we were puzzled. We have never heard of this restaurant, just excited to try the new restaurant in our old spot! So we started googling to see if they had a drink menu. Our waitress comes to the table to take our order. I asked if they could make a mojito, she said I guess. Then my friend stated we see beer tabs and liquor bottles so I am assuming you can make specialty drinks. She was like, sure did you not get a drink menu. She handed us one. She gave us a minute and we ordered a white gummy martini. It was delicious and a must order. As for the food, I asked our waitress what would she recommend. She was clueless! She was sweet and hospitable, but knew nothing about the menu and couldn’t recommend or sell me anything. I loved her personality, so I will give her A+. We had the Firecracker Shrimp, Shrimp Tacos and the Margherita Pizza. Both of the shrimp meals were great. However, the pizza cook needs more training. The flavor was good, but the middle was soggy and the entire pizza fell apart as you tried to get a slice. We at the ends like breadsticks. The female that delivered our food, needs more training on food delivery. When she delivered the food and as she sat the plate down of shrimp tacos and fries, majority of the fries fell on the table. She kind of froze up, not knowing what to say or do. She left and never came back or offered more fries. Our waitress passed by us and asked what happened, we told her and she cleaned up the spilled fries. On a side note, it appeared that everyone that was seated at the high top table, when food was being delivered it went to the wrong person more often than not. You had to watch for your food. Our food went to the wrong people and I had to speak up. Once the kinks are worked out this place will be a success! I will visit again in a few months!”

“I just finished my lunch - amazing! I had Boneless Mango Habanero wings. I love that the wings are made fresh when ordered. The coating is light with generous pieces of chicken AND they have 70 cent wings on Mondays! Everyone is friendly and seem happy to be there. 5/5 - Will be back!”

“I passed by this place last week and was intrigued by the concept in the area. Being from Costa Rica I find that besides Mexican food we can’t find any other ethnic Latino variety. Well, to my surprise the decor was welcoming and the service fantastic. The dipping sauces were exceptional and the empanadas I dipped in hem were hot, crispy on the outside with juicy and flavorful shredded chicken as filling. I wanted everything…. But we chose the stuffed tostones as a starter and they were savory and very pleasant. Continued with yuca fries and they paired very well with the sauces too. For main I had “los tres golpes” a traditional Dominican dish with eggs, salami and fried cheese served with a buttery green plantain mashed and some pickled red onions so delicious and satisfying. My partner had the traditional mofongo served with pulled pork full of flavor. For dessert we tried both the flan and tres leches what an awesome way to finish a wonderful meal. Highly recommend The Latin Kitchen since I throughly enjoyed it”

“Great experience and delicious food! We had the calamari, filet, New York strip, and side Caesar salads. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Service was quick and staff was very attentive. We were in and out in a little over an hour! Restaurant atmosphere is super cute and we loved the vibe. I will say it’s a bit on the pricier side for the location, but not completely outrageous.”

“My husband and I have been here twice and both times we have great service and great food. ‘Smaller’ focused menu with lots of enriched flavors, that you really can’t get around Shelby twp. Prices are very fair, and happy hour during the week is $3 off apps! They hit the ball out of the park for all appetizers! We have had cocktails and wine here and have loved what the bartender has whipped up both times. Atmosphere is a little dark inside but nicely decorated and it creates a relaxed date night feel. Definitely a gem for the Shelby area!”

“First- time customer of Chubby Charlie's and I was very pleased with my order! I had the Italian Stromboli and a pepperoni pizza with flavored crust. Both the Stromboli and pizza tasted delicious! The ranch was just how I like it and the pizza sauce had great flavor. Very impressed with this location and will gladly come back in the future. They have really good looking specialty pizzas like the Dill Pickle Pizza and the Caprese Pizza which I'd really like to try. “Food was great! I had the steak tip and portobello gnocchi in a sauce with such great flavor. Mom and dad loved their sandwich/burger. Grandma ate all of her brick chicken and she usually has a very small appetite. Service was great and we really enjoyed Ryan as our server. He made sure all our special requests were taken care of. Definitely will be our new spot for family outing dinners :)”
