Dad-gum! This place is on-point for New-Orleans style food. Promised my husband i wouldn't try anything besides the red beans and rice.....Perfect replication of my grandmother's along with the corn bread. Will bring my husband back so that he can enjoy this delicious hidden treat right here in Sterling Heights! Will also be anxiously anticipating the desserts in addition to the WHOLE MENU!!! Sorry Popeye's!
Have been getting carry out since they opened a bit after our twins were born, and always enjoy. Catfish chips, hush puppies and shrimp po’boys are favorites. The kids are finally old enough for dining out, so we went to celebrate my mom’s birthday. It was AMAZING! Our waiter was attentive and accommodating to our request to order family style. We chose a few of the specials along with the catfish chips and hush puppies for the kids. Everything came out of the kitchen hot and DELICIOUS! Truly an outstanding dining experience, and my mom loved her birthday meal!
Went there for diner before an event. It was great! Ordered the Chicken Creole Dish. Was cooked perfectly and you can tell it was fresh. The waiters gave great recommendations and were all very nice. Great service and wonderful food, An experience well worth it.
We went here for lunch. We happened to be driving by and decided to try it. I ordered the jambalaya while my partner ordered a pork chop sandwich. The jambalaya came with homemade cornbread. The jambalaya had a good flavor to it and was also definitely homemade. My partners sandwich also was very good. The owner and chef, Andrea, is extremely friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended if you are in the area.
What a great surprise the Bistro Orleans was. I was traveling on business, found this listing on Yelp, and stopped in. If you like New Orleans Cajun and Creole food this is the real deal. The owner, Alexandria, is from New Orleans. She's cooking grandmas recipes. She has classic NOLA food and some great creations, ie, Catfish and grilled shrimp smothered in Bourbon Street Gumbo. Nothing "fishy". Tasted fresh and homemade. A real character doing the waiting. Nice to visit a happy place with district and good food. Full disclosure - they do not serve any alcohol. Wine would have added to the experience but I didn't ding the for it. They are too rare a find. I also understand they are moving to 15Mile Rd in 60 days. Look them up.
