I got the Lamp Lighter sandwich, deluxe, half pastrami half corned beef. When I tell you that I tasted it right after it came off the grill! Cheese melted perfectly, dressing seeping in with the coleslaw!!!???????????????????????????????????? I couldn't stop eating it! I was in the area, and I am always in search of a good corned beef sandwich. If I can be honest, this may be the most memorable one that I've had. It at least makes my top 3! The waitress was SUPER friendly. Nice environment! And they seem to have regular customers who love it there. I had the onion rings, they were good and fresh as well.

This place is always amazing. I've been coming here for 8yrs now and not once has the quality slipped. Corned beef is very good. Serving sizes are large so come hungry...and leave very happy. Has chicken, homemade soup and salads. Price matches taste and quality.

There is too much time on between the moments when I have a fresh hot sandwich. Very delicious, huge sandwiches on fresh bread.

House of Reuben is a local secret. Housed in an unassuming, converted Taco Bell, it looks like a typical small diner. But it's not the obligatory burger on the menu you go there for, even though it is quite good: it's the corned beef sandwiches. And they are amazing.

Don't ask how many calories they have or how many grams of fat. If you need to know, you're in the wrong restaurant. Instead, ask them which of the home made dressings they think you should have on your sandwich. Ask for the side of onion rings, which are perfect. And enjoy as the man behind the counter grills your sandwich, then stacks it high with delicious, perfectly prepared corned beef. There is a lunch crowd: something this good always attracts one. Go in at 2:30 in the afternoon and you'll have the place to yourself. Tip your waitress generously.

    I like the 10B.

EXCELLENT tuna sandwich with generous portions of tuna. The bread choices are limited to Rye, White, and Pumpernickel which seemed odd that a place with a sandwich reference as part of their name wouldn't even stock wheat bread as an option. Having said that, the sandwich was quite delicious. I think I will try some soup also, for my next visit. Lastly, I felt that the prices were a bit high with the bill coming to $16.00 for lunch, which included a sandwich, fries, a coke, and a tip for the pleasant waitress. But as I stated earlier, I will be returning so I definitely recommend "The House of Reuben"!
