Johnny Blacks Public House

I am editing this review from 5 years ago, because I have since gone back to this establishment, and it was a great experience. Things have changed since my last visit, and it was very welcome. Great service, awesome food, recommend for sure!

Good food, good service, plenty of TV's to watch all the games, however; here is a hint to the management: You're a sports bar, not a nightclub; the "music" is WAY too loud for your clientele, as well as for your sound system! I will not recommend, nor revisit until this is remedied.

If I could give this place a million stars I would. Gator Jake's which never ever go there sent us away after letting us sit in the booth for 20 minutes just to let us know that their kitchen was closed and recommended this place. We were welcomed with open arms and an open kitchen. Amazing staff, delicious food, great prices. Amazing atmosphere as well. Permanent customer when I am in the area from now on!

Food was great! Hostess can use some customer service skills. No acknowledgement upon walking in. It seemed as if we were interrupting her phone scrolling time by having to ask to be seated.. without saying a word. Grabbed two menus (there were 5 of us)and walked us to a table. Sat them down …. And still without any words rapidly left. Our server on the other hand was fabulous. We asked to be moved inside and to a larger table to accommodate all of us because we didn’t want to sit outside… had the hostess spoken to us she’d known this.

Johnny Blacks is a great place for lunch and dinner. They offer deals for there lunch menus. For example a free beer with the purchase burger meal. They have awesome dinner ideas to pick from. And best part they have deep fried oreos!
