“I came to the restaurant yesterday for lunch with our birthday group from work. There were 9 of us. I called a few days ahead and made a reservation. The table was ready for us when we arrived. We were all able to order from the menu and were told it was no problem when we requested separate checks. Our waiter, Jason, was exceptional. The food was very tasty with very generous portions, and the wait for our food was not long even though there were several of us. There are several lunch specials to choose from; sandwiches, as well as entrees. One of the people in our group is a vegetarian and found plenty to eat; she even took a carryout box back to work with her. If you leave this restaurant hungry, it is your own fault. The restaurant was not crowded, but I can't figure why. You don't want to miss out on this restaurant.”

“My daughter and I were excited to help launch this new kitchen today, we have been waiting for good southern food to come into our area, it's not always convinenent to travel to get it. Well we were not disappointed. Had the Baked Chicken Breast, yams and greens ( just a lil too salty for me, but the flavor was there) were all so yummy. I was a lil suspicious of the bbq sauce bc I could see it was thin in the container but it was very tasty. We also got a slice of both Cheesecakes to share and again very yummy. Nicely sweetened, not at all overly sweet, making it perfect for the apples, spices and the sweet potato to come thru. Really enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back. “You have to try their scones!!! They are amazing. I gave them out for Christmas gifts with tea and honey sticks! Everyone loved them. The owners are so accommodating. I work for a group of nursing homes and they delivered my order right to my door, had each box marked and brought exactly what we asked for. The hospital case managers thought it was one of the nicest gifts they received. Who doesn't like home made scones! The savory ones are a favorite of the men...especially the bacon and cheddar. My personal favorite is the Michigan Cherry. We have not tried one that we did NOT like. I highly encourage you to try them! They make thoughtful gifts as well and come very nicely packaged. Enjoy!!”
