“The food was as expected- I think we all know that when going to a place like this that it all depends on what time of the day you walk in as to whether or not you should expect fresh product. We try to view it from the owners perspective so as to understand why there is a single dried up slice at every other available selection. The staff mentioned more than one time that they would be happy to make fresh pies. The atmosphere is perfect for its desired demographic and is a safe suggestion for a group or small family. All-in-all we've rated Dave's Pizza Buffet a 4/5”

“We're in town visiting and ate at Akamas at the suggestion of our family -- as they frequent this restaurant. Noting: our family members are older and very particular eaters who usually complain about meals at other restaurants (so we knew the food must be good!). We ordered the Sunday specials: swiss steak for me and my husband ordered the fish with mac & cheese. Our family ordered a favored chicken gyro. The portions were huge and the food was absolutely perfect! Our meals came with dessert choice of ice cream, rice pudding, or jello. We opted for rice pudding and it was delicious! The coffee was perfect and the staff friendly. The restaurant is clean with a quiet atmosphere. We will definitely eat here again. The restaurant has a small bar which offers wine & liquor. We don't drink so I can't speak to the wine choices but for those who do like to have a glass of wine with dinner I thought I'd note that it is offered.”

“Dominic is very pleasant to deal with and I look forward to using this place as my go-to pizza place for years to come. I’d definitely put them in my top 2 in Macomb County, probably #1 just ahead of Oliver’s on 26 mile. Benito’s pizza doesn’t taste as good the next day if you have leftover, but it’s unmatched when eating it right when you get it. That’s also probably most important anyway. Great softness to the pizza while still being crispy on the bottom. Great pizza and people.”

“I really enjoy the food, service, and the atmosphere. The restaurant is so charming inside and have to talk about their friendly services! I love to eat spicy food and would definitely recommend their Szechuan garlic beef! I received a generous amount with the dinner combination and have to say it was the right taste of spicy! Also, big shout out to their dietary menu! It’s so friendly to people who wanted to lose weight but at the same time eat some Chinese food!”

“I love to eat here and I don't do it often enough. I normally will get the Apple Pancake with a side of bacon. While it does take a bit longer to cook than a normal plate, it is worth it. I finally took my best friend after a year or two of trying and he said it was fantastic. The staff are normally happy and helpful. I always look forward to coming here for a meal.”

“TRY IT AGAIN! Moved to the area a few years back and this place always had a good atmosphere but the food was below average bar food. Tried it again over the weekend because I heard they redid the menu and I was pleasantly surprised. Everything we got was above average restaurant food. Pizza, Chicken Pita and Spinach Artichoke Dip were all excellent. Good selection of craft beer and staff has always been great. Cool little patio too. This place is now in our local bar/dinner rotation!”

“My first thought going into this bar/grill was it may not be my type of atmosphere. However, it was quite nice. The welcome staff was pretty nice and greeted my daughter and I as soon as we walked in. We chose to sit in a booth instead of a table or the bar. It has televisions and video games for the adults and children. The lighting was kind of dark. The restrooms were clean. The food is awesome especially their tater tots. They have fair drink specials everyday of the week. Great bar!”
