Barrel + Beam

I've wanted to try this brewery the last few times I've been to Marquette and finally had the chance. I can't wait to go back! I really enjoyed their beers I tried. The bartender was helpful about flavor profiles of draft brews. Lots of comfy character in the decor too.

I've been here a number of times. Once for a food event that showcased the talents of local restaurant chefs. The event was fantastic. Their beer offering is mostly ciders and sours. It's worth talking to the bartenders if you have never sampled this type of beer. They offer frozen smelted pizzas and heard recently they opened and kitchen and look forward to trying. Don't expect a run of the mill brewery, they are definitely introducing your palette to many different flavors at barrel and beam, definitely recommend trying.

Part of our trips is trying new breweries when possible. So we thought we’d give here a try Saturday evening before dinner. Not hard to find and amble parking. The menu seemed a bit too fancy for us. Use to seeing the standard Blonde, IPA, and stouts. My son was able to find an IPA but my wife and I had a bit more trouble picking something out. Didn’t see any list for what was on tap so the three we got all came from cans/bottles. Son really liked his. I’m sure my wife and I just made the wrong selection. She only took a few drinks of hers and I drank about half. We’ll try another time after the kitchen opens up and try and talk to the bartenders for a better pick

Good place to go for some quick food, they do have vegetarian options (we had Tofu Sandwich and vegetable rolls, both were good). They've a good collection of Cider and Mead if interested. Place was nice, live music was going on. Prices on the menu were not expensive. Restrooms were clean. Overall, would recommend trying out!

We had our wedding ceremony AND reception at Barrel + Beam.
The staff helped make our day absolutely magical. Huge shout out to Alex, the event coordinator. She went above and beyond to make sure our day was as stress free as possible.
Our guests loved trying different beers and ciders. The venue was relaxed and beautiful.
10/10.
