Hudson's Classic Grill & Bar

I have loved Hudson's since it opened. It has great decor, creative specials, and attentive staff. I enjoy visiting a place with my kids that has nostalgia from my high school days.

However, I would be lying if I did not say they have been experiencing a slow fade. Apathy.

1) Sticky table, always a bad start.
2) It seemed like there was only one server taking care of tables inside, outside, and making drinks.
3) We had a table with 9 meals, and 3 had issues.
4) Drinks not refilled until we were all essentially done.

Hudson's, please step it up. I know you are better than this. I do not want you to be a local has been!

We had a great dinner on the patio on our drive from northern Minnesota to Mackinac Island. Stopped at Hudsons because of their pet friendly patio where our furry little guy was served his own bowl of water by our friendly server, Kelly Sue. Bacon cheeseburger was magnificent, white fish bites were superb, as well as the cole slaw, onion rings, fries, & cold beer. Rave reviews from these Texans! Bonus: we’re staying at My Place Hotel & Lorrie Sue called to let them know we will be checking in late, so we can relax & enjoy ourselves. Great customer service! Thank you!!

I had the cod basket. Which was amazing. I ate everything. My wife had a steak and potatoes which she loved. Both kids had chicken tenders go figure but they both enjoyed it. We got dessert and was stuffed. Very convenient our hotel was next door.
