Lagniappe Cajun Creole Eatery

This place is amazing. Very cozy, smooth New Orleans jazz really adds to the atmosphere. It takes you out of the Lake Superior Northern Michigan environment and really transports you away to another place about 1500 miles to the south, on the coast of another coastal body of water, teaming with shrimp, and bayue teaming with catfish and crawdads. The food is excellent the smells are homey and comforting.

The brunch here is well worth it! I had the eggs Benedict and it was probably the best I've ever had. We ended up here the next morning too, and I got the chicken n waffles which was amazing! The dinners are good here too, we went one of the nights we were in town. I would definitely recommend

Nothing I can say will do this place the justice it rightly deserves. The food was perfect, but better then that, our server (Freddie Mercury's look a like (was hands down exceptional in everyway, we had to ask for nothing as he already anticipated it and had it to us! Just amazing

Now this place has some amazing food. Everything I got here was excellent. The service was great! The bartender was amazing and came up with a great selection of mocktails. I'd recommend this place if you like creole food! It definitely surprised me that I could get some good down South food way up in the UP.

Excellent place! I have never been disappointed in the food or service. I would say this is a hidden gem of the UP. The shrimp Po Boy is amazing and lite. The seafood is always fresh and tasty. You can tell they put care into what they serve. The staff is always friendly and ensure you are well taken care of. The menu is big but you will always get something amazing!
