Fun place to stop for a bite to eat. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the beer was even better! We were greeted right away and they found a table for us even though we didn't have reservations. The flight of beer allows you to sample all of their craft brews, but I'd recommend the Blueberry Wheat. The smoked whitefish and whitefish dinner were amazing.
The smoked white fish appetizer is amazing. Not too smoky, not oily, just wonderful. Sandwiches were tasty. Large lunch and dinner selection, nice craft beer selection.
First time coming here and we left very impressed! We had French onion soup as a starter, so delicious! I had the chicken piccata and husband had fish and chips. Everything tasted so good, loved the ambiance of the restaurant too.
Wonderful historical spot and brewery. Great salads. Hard to come by up here. Everything else is always great too. It's a classic place to visit, plus, the views of the fish and Ore Dock are Fantastic. Especially at sunset!
My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary dinner. We saw when passing through this city, that this place had great reviews. They were absolutely correct. To start their honey mustard house dressing it like a vinaigrette and it is so so so good! The white fish was recommended so we went with that. My husband and I both got 2 different kinds, the piccata and scampi garlic white fish, both absolutely cooked to perfectly. The green beans were the best we ever had as well. Drinks were strong, their house brewed beer was amazing also. Alex our waitress did an amazing job. The atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy, historical, great views with the rear tables. It is a smaller place which brings even more of great feels to it. I would recommend making a reservation. Oh and definitely try their French onion soup it was the best my husband ever had and I think their peanut butter chocolate pie is the topping on the cake of the night.
