Firekeeper's Restaurant

No wait to sit at the bar, 40 minutes wait for a table. Plenty of empty tables, but short staffed. The bartender/manager was very accommodating. Not many choices for wine, by the glass. My steak, Filet, was ordered as medium rare but was well done. I didn't complain, but the bartender noticed and had it remade. The second steak was medium. I ate part of it. Basically they need to hire someone who knows how to cook a steak. The bartender took my meal off the bill. My husband's walleye had bones, by now we felt funny complaining about anything. They were trying to be accommodating. The potatoes and corn were good. We haven't been to the 5 bridges restaurant, but we would try it next time.

It's Friday 13th and that may have something to do with this. 25 minute wait to be seated and plenty of tables available. 45 minutes wait to receive food. Meat room temp tender but dry. baked potato hot. Been here before food was better. Its comfort food not like its high end. Waitress very pleasant.

Great atmosphere and the food is freshly prepared with good presentation. Staff was friendly and efficient.
