    Brisket(3☆) was dry, bland, lacked flavor no bark and weak smoke ring. Turkey(4☆)was dry and weak on flavor. Pulled pork (6☆) mostly moist some dry pieces, decent flavor but didnt taste smoked. Sausage (5☆) moist, chunky texture, bland.

    This place has everything going for it. Great meats, great beans, great sauces, great service, nice aesthetics. A must stop if you venture through Lake City, Michigan. There are 4 or 5 sauces, I tried all but 1 and the flavors were terrific. The brisket was cooked perfectly. The BBQ beans had a nice flavor also. Best coleslaw I think I've ever had. Also the name has changed to Rustic Hog Barbeque as it has changed owners. Everything I reviewed is related to the food under the new owners. The past owners had good food also but it is a 10/10 now. Nicely done!

    Good food. We had a BIG order so we ordered they day before. They got our order wrong so it took us two trips to go pick it up but they threw in a bunch of free food to make up for it.
