Hi-Lite Fresh Market

It makes me extremely hesitant to do pick up orders through HI Lite Monroe MI
My bank account was charged 14.76 for my pick up order and a hold was put on my bank account for 18.77 for the same order.
It took 4 days for the hold to be released back to my bank account. Causing my bank to almost charge me for the overdraft fee of 36.00.
I Love shopping with you doing Pick up orders, but I won't if you're gonna charge this fee. If you have a limit you have to purchase to avoid this hold you need to make your customers aware. Some of us can't afford this hold.

For a smaller market, they have a nice variety. Love their deli and Meats. I find the prices to be higher than other named stores, but sometimes it's easier to shop here because the other stores are so huge. Employees are very friendly.

I have only recently discovered Hi-Lite during the pandemic. When every other grocery store was out of everything, HI Lite still had full shelves and excellent curbside service. As a very sick woman I rely on curbside service a lot these last couple of years and I don't even bat an eye at Hi-Lite's slightly higher prices or fees. The service and dependability are totally worth it.

It's less than a mile from my house. Helpful and nice staff. Have everything you pretty much need.

I love this small home town grocery store. They have the nicest employees. And they have the best price on meat around. Beating the big store prices by quite a bit. And the best fried chicken.
