Amazing breakfast menu, homemade jams and multigrain pancakes that you won't feel guilty eating, wonderful cheerful service. Best bet for a Sunday brunch. I will return later for the Guinness on tap.
Friends hosted us for lunch after a Memorial service and we enjoyed terrific service and a great apple salad with shrimp which was scrumptious! The menu description should have included "joyous" in describing that entree.
Sadly I still do have a bad taste in my mouth from the Thanksgiving buffet which featured processed turkey and no dark meat ( The only turkey I eat) although other dishes were quite good. If you're not going to have real turkey don't even do a Thanksgiving Buffet.
The spinach mozzarella stuffed mushroom appetizer was delicious. That said the waiting time for our dinner was very long and I ordered a medium rare burger that came out well done. The waitress offered to have it replaced. But, given the waiting time I declined. When we were ready to leave it took 10 minutes to get our bill. I have been here before with no complaints but not this time!
I had dinner here with some friends who live close by. It turned out to be a very good choice.
I split 3 appetizers with my wife instead of opting for an entree. We had beef nachos, stuff mushrooms and crab cakes. All three were quite good. I wish there had been more crab cake, but I can understand the cost of getting good crab.
We also split a brownie sundae. Again, very good.
The service was good, too.
My only disappointment: They have a Shiner Bock mirror in the entryway, but they don't actually serve Shiner. That's not a terrible thing, but I would expect them to serve a beer they advertise.
Overall, it was a great experience. I recommend stopping by.
The food is pretty good and the specials even better. The rolls are very tasty. Save room for dessert. They have a couple tasty treats. The service can be spotty during a full show. So if you happen to be there during a show be patient and enjoy it.
The place seems to have metal walls. Cell phone service can be low or for Sprint, no service. So, if you need to be connected you'll be out of luck.
