The Neighbor's Shoppe

Really close to my house and has amazing candy and the owners are super nice. My parents always come here if they forgot something for a recipe, and one time my dad forgot his wallet, and they let him take the item and bring the money a bit later.

Residents of Berkely and passers-by: do yourselves a favor and stop into this shop next time you're near.

Each time I've stopped in, the folks here have been so welcoming--and genuine!

It's a cute, little specialty shop with everything you'd hope a corner shop would have, but with higher quality goods.

Recently, I stopped in to see if they had Laguita's Hop Water (they didn't--not many places do). Donna offered to get some with their upcoming Laguinita's order. A few days later, she texted me to let me know it had arrived. I stopped in and they had stocked multiple four-packs of the tasty brew!! Holy dang. Amazing.

Best cup of coffee in Berkley! They use locally roasted Detroit Bold coffee and they let me use my travel mug to cut down on waste. Fantastic selection of sodas (including one infused with CBD), good selection of staple groceries for when you run out of sausage patties or pesto sauce and don't want to schlep to Kroger. They are a Berkley establishment, so by law they are required to sell pizza, which they continue to do "Tweeny's" style and by the slice. They also serve other ready to go food items like sandwiches and other deli fare, prepared in house daily.

Get the pizza! It is REALLY good! I have gotten it twice now and it is becoming our new favorite local pizza shop in Berkley. And we have plenty to choose from. Donna is great and the store has a well curated selection of foods and drinks.
