I live out of town but I usually like to try new places and this place is mediocre. I came around 1:15pm on a Sunday and they were only doing take out orders at the moment because they were “closing soon”...the website says they close at 3pm...anyway the girl at the front counter was not that friendly and was almost rushing me to order. I did wait a while for my food as well. The açaí bowls are good but not the best and the wraps were actually really good so I may come back if and when I’m ever in the area again. If you really want an amazing açaí bowl I’d recommend Wilma’s in Ann Arbor if you are ever in that area. Wilma’s has a friendly staff and much better environment than this place.
Acai bowl was amazing. The stuff was ok but seemed very disconnected. Price was ok. The wait was terrible...
Cafe Succo... Coffee was okay. Not bad but okay. When I buy coffee out, I want it to be the best, not okay. When I asked if they had a dark roast (strong) coffee they said that their customers say it's not strong. They offered to add a shot of espresso at an additional charge to make it strong. Instead I got a cappuccino, it was okay. I want great. Staff was polite but never even bothered to ask if my cap was good or if it gave me the bolt I was looking for. Nothing. I expect better for Birmingham and the price. I'll go back next year and see if thay have improved.
A great spot in the B. A pleasant walk in the spring scented streets with great company.
