“What a beautiful place! Next to Tallulah, this is my new favorite spot in Birmingham! It’s a gorgeous restaurant. Went to try it a few times already and had an amazing experience each time. At this point, I have tried everything on the menu and I loved everything so far, especially the Beef Tartare, Filet, Fish and Lamb chops! The drinks all had fresh garnishes and tasted as great as they looked. The staff is very friendly and they made us all feel so welcomed and like family. Donika was an amazing server and provided us with the best experience! It turned into a completely different vibe on the weekend with a DJ, and it was a great time, definitely the new place to be and new favorite spot in Birmingham!”

“We visited the Daxton Hotel on it's first night open, and were completely blown away. The service at Madam was impeccable. Drinks were amazing, it felt like each had it's own special glassware. We did a dessert sampling and each was a work of art. The staff was attentive and lovely. The interior is just stunning. Totally unique from anything in the area. There is not one thing about this hotel that is generic. Each detail has been thought of - from Madam motif on the waiter's masks - to the hand-stamped coasters. Not a single corner forgotten or wall lacking curation. This place truly makes you feel special. We cannot wait for many more nights at the Daxton! It is a true luxury experience.”

“With a trendy menu and an interesting location in the mezzanine above Papa Joe's gourmet market, I expected more than average food. It was not bad, but I have had better other places. I had the middle cut strip steak with fingerling potatoes and asparagus. While good, I have had better zip sauce else where. The desserts were good, but again I have better. Service was good and had diet Coke products for us non drinkers. The prices make this a special outing for most working folks. New menu for fall is coming, but I might or might not come to check it out.”
