    The air conditioning didn't go lower than 68. And next time I make a reservation I need to request to be further away to the elevator. It was loud. GREAT customer service! Rooms are beautiful and beds are comfortable!

    We LOVED our stay at the Daxton! Our room was spacious and beautiful, and the soaking tub was a dream! We so enjoyed our meal at the hotel restaurant, Madam. Our server was so friendly and everything was delicious! We will be back soon.. Thank you Daxton!

    James Barnett was exemplary. He helped set up crib/playpen for my son. He was incredibly inviting for my family, and put my mind at ease while my family traveled without my presence. He is an operations manager that went above and beyond his responsibilities. I always stay at the Townsend, no more. James is the epitome of what Birmingham needs.

    We visited the Daxton Hotel on it's first night open, and were completely blown away. The service at Madam was impeccable. Drinks were amazing, it felt like each had it's own special glassware. We did a dessert sampling and each was a work of art. The staff was attentive and lovely.

    The interior is just stunning. Totally unique from anything in the area. There is not one thing about this hotel that is generic. Each detail has been thought of - from Madam motif on the waiter's masks - to the hand-stamped coasters. Not a single corner forgotten or wall lacking curation.

    This place truly makes you feel special. We cannot wait for many more nights at the Daxton! It is a true luxury experience.
