Whistle Stop Restaurant

Great location, the nicest staff of any restaurant in Birmingham.... But the food is just 'rushed'. It's the only way I can explain it. Everything needs a few more minutes. The cheese in my skillet wasn't melted, the potatoes were barely hot. My son's French toast looked undercooked. I just moved to the neighborhood, so I wish this place was better.

Great neighborhood fav. Cheerful staff good service. Food always is good. Sometimes crowded. Want a quieter experience choose second room. I enjoy their coffee.

This whimsical little diner is a special place. The pancakes are very moist and dense, unlike other pancakes I have had. The menu has many options, from omelettes to patty melts to French toast, and each of them good options to go with

Their food was good and it came quickly. The feeling of the restaurant was also really nice, a very comfy atmosphere. They also have toy cars and things for children to play with (you can too of course, no judging). Overall a good place to stop if you’re looking for a nice breakfast place.
