“Food was good and the staff seemed quite professional. They may have taken some of the early feedback to heart on that front. The facility itself definitely needs work though. It hasn’t been updated from what I can see. I understand that not every restaurant is going to update/renovate and that’s okay. It doesn’t have to be the Taj Mahal but a bit of paint and some extra lighting, especially downstairs, would go a long way. On that note, use the bathroom somewhere else. Theirs is in a very creepy basement. And please put some soap in the ladies room. I always have hand sanitizer in my car but I expect to be able to wash my hands in a restaurant.”

“Great food!! Staff is great! My niece asked if they had Dr Pepper, they did not. 5 minutes later a floor manager puts 2 big glasses of Dr Pepper in front of her! She went somewhere and got it, so nice of her. Manager came by the table 3 times, super nice and accommodating. Fish tacos were delicious, very fresh. Stuffed chicken with mashed potatoes was comfort food at its best. Only negatives, if you order coffee, you have to get up and go to a "coffee bar" to get it?? I thought that was weird. Also the place is extremely loud. Could use some noise dampening wall coverings or something. The sound just bounces around the place. I loved the food but I'm partial to having a conversation at dinner, which was difficult here. All in all good place!”

“Incredible new dining experience in downtown Ferndale. I am not usually a fan of Japanese food, so I admit I went more to check out the artwork by Glenn Barr, but the food really surprised me! It was delicious! The service was spot on, even on a jam packed opening night. The murals are amazing, the design is super cool, great lighting, all very impressive. I suspect there will almost always be a wait time so don't expect to be seated right away. If their bar is too crowded to get a seat, there are plenty of other bars close by where you can grab a drink or coffee while you wait. They will text you when your table is ready, which is very convenient. Sorry, no pics yet, I was too busy enjoying the experience, but I will be back for sure! Definitely check it out. You won't be disappointed.”

“Linguine with clam sauce. Sauce was the perfect texture and seasoned perfectly. The arancini were delicious and reminded me of ones I had growing up. Gnocchi were not gummy and were cooked perfectly as well. The chicken was delicious and flavorful as well and I loved the brine and brightness the capers brought.
