Pink Garlic Indian Cuisine

We tried Pink Garlic recently and loved it! The food was so delicious and flavorful..we will definitely add this restaurant to our list of go to carryout spots. The other reviews are correct that the wait can be long sometimes, but I think that's a good thing for 2 reasons. 1) Obviously people love this place and their busyness shows that and 2) so happy that a local restaurant is killing it! I hope you all have years of success! ❤

Wonderfully tasty and authentic Indian cuisine at a decent price. Pulled in there on a bit of an impulse and put in my order for Tandoori Chicken and Vegetable Samosas. There is no dine-in, so it's takeaway ordering. Tandoori entree is a half chicken with that lovely Indian barbecue/yogurt glaze, served with caramelized onions and green peppers. It was a bit oily, but crazy delicious. The Samosas were huge and came with 2 sauces, one having cilantro. While waiting the 30 minutes (it wasn't too busy, and they said it might be done sooner) I popped into the 7-11 next door, and I was salivating, thinking of the meal to come. When I stopped back in, I was told the chicken dish had been burned, and they were making me another one. They kindly offered a delicious mango lassi while I waited. Total bill was about $20, and the food was enough for two meals. The staff are very kind and enthusiastic. We love you in Oak Park!

Best Indian food I have ever had, comparing to many places across country. The wait IS long however it is worth it! You must plan accordingly. We were told on our first attempt on a Friday 2 hours however we were unfamiliar that this was a standard wait time. Therefore on Sunday, we called at 5pm for an anticipated 7pm dinner and they called us promptly 2 hrs later once the food was ready. Again, the food is WORTH THE WAIT. A lot of savory flavors and you can tell it’s made of good quality ingredients as well. Do note, they ask you the degree of spice (mild, medium, spicy) and I chose medium however this was very spicy and I feel like I can usually handle spice. So just some caution when you order. I will most definitely order here again. Thank you Pink Garlic!

Excited to see Indian Cuisine open in our area. Tried them for the first time, so this is only based on one time. I would need to order more than one carryout for this to be based on consistency. We got the Butter Chicken, Veggie Korma and Garlic Naan. All excellent. Ordered "0" on the heat, but it did not lack any flavor whatsoever. Spicy doesn't always equate to flavor. We were fighting over the Butter Chicken. We have eaten a lot of Indian Cuisine including friends from India, and the Pink Garlic met our expectations. We'll see how future orders go...

Wow—what a great experience. Spectacular food and friendly staff. We ordered a handful of entrees and they were all hits, however, the star of the show was the garlic cheese nan bread. AMAZING. Couldn’t even finish the meal before checking the menu to see what we wanted to try next time. We are lucky to have this spot in our community.

As noted in other reviews, definitely phone your order in ahead of time. As to be expected, they are very busy, but also transparent about their timing. We had about an hour wait and food was hot and fresh upon pickup.

Looking forward to trying the rest of the menu!!!
