Super yummy "deconstructed sushi". Fresh and very tasty, with full control over protein, rice, veggies and toppings. Quick, friendly service. Limited seating, but clean and bright. A bit pricey, but typical for sushi and the Big Beaver corridor.
Best customer service we've ever had thanks to Chelsea, the manager. Grubhub messed up our order two different nights, and when we finally went into the restaurant a few days later because we didn't trust delivery anymore, Chelsea and her team did everything they could to turn a bad situation that had nothing to do with the restaurant into a fantastic experience where we're now loyal customers for life.
She was so kind to me, my husband, and our children that we can't recommend Poke Poke highly enough. On top of the great management, the food was incredible and our kids all loved it, too. If you're looking for great sushi with a super friendly staff that truly cares about your experience, this is the best place there is!
Glad to see a quality Poke shop here in Troy. Staff is friendly, ingredients are fresh and offer a very wide selection of protein (2 or 3 scoops). Next there are lots of traditional and non traditional topping choices and enough sauce choices to keep you coming back, without getting stuck in a rut. Give it a try as an alternative to sushi.
Came here after working out across the street and was greeted by the most friendly staff. I'd never been here before and Chelsea helped walk me through all the different options and helped me create an absolutely delicious poke bowl. She even recommended some of her favorite sauces.
During my time in the restaurant she was walking around asking customers how everything was and checking on everyone. Really taking responsibility for how the place ran and looked. I told her I might come back the next day after working out, and I did. I could guess she was the GM from how she took responsibility for the restaurant and cared about her customers. She runs a fantastic operation and the place was spotless!
I come to MI once a month or so for business and think I've found my new spot (sorry Bonefish!).
Just stopped in for the first time and have 2 major takeaways:
1) the product (Poke Bowl) is AWESOME--fresh ingredients and perfect flavor combinations and
2) the staff is incredible. So friendly and professional.
I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but I'm sincerely happy to write this one.
