If you're in the walled Lake area craving Thai food, this is the place for you. Ordered pad Thai with mixed vegetables. Very flavorful, fresh mushrooms (not canned) service was fast and friendly. I've eaten at dozens of Thai restaurants over the years and highly recommend his one!
Haang’s Bistro, where do I begin. The Curry Pad Thai is perfect every time. The peanut Curry is the most delicious thing I’ve ever eaten! Very delicious crab rangoons. Haven’t tried a fish I didn’t like. They even do an amazing fried rice! I love this place and the amazing staff! Great for take out, as it’s super quick, but being across from Walled Lake, it’s also a great place to dine in. The familiar faces of the staff are hard to beat as well, we have grown very fond of this place. Yes, the food can be spicy, as it’s the most authentic I’ve had. If you’re used to a medium spice level, I suggest “mild plus” as it gives you that little bite but you can still enjoy it. Don’t be afraid to ask questions! They also have a large and delicious assortments of bubble teas. Portion sizes are very generous and I can normally have lunch the next day and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this local spot—they set the bar high! Consider this my love letter to Haang’s Bistro ????????????
I've gotten take out a few times but have only recently had the chance to dine in here. It's a wonderful restaurant with outdoor seating across from the beach. The food is always delicious and the people are so nice. We often get food from here when entertaining guests from out-of-state and they always love it! Recommend the crab cheese (which is nice and crispy) and the drunken noodles.
Great food for a very reasonable price. It is hard to find a lunch stop of this quality for less than $10. The chicken Pad Thai was only around $6.50 and was more than enough food for lunch. The spice level was perfect (medium - just enough to get your nose running a little bit). We will definitely be going back. Would recommend to anyone.
Overall food is good.
Usually I order medium in Thai restaurants. I ordered the same level of spice, but here it seems the spice standards are bit different. The medium turned out spicy for me.
