L. A. Cafe

I was a regular when I lived on that side of town.

Now I live 45 minutes away and today I made the drive to have Sunday brunch with my lifelong friend.

First, the coffee and food are amazing. I love a mad cup & everything bagel grilled with cream cheese. The menu has tons of options and great desserts.

Unique boutique of sassy, sarcastic, and fun gifts.

Family-owned with the most amazing staff.

Lots of parking, outdoor seating, and off the water.

Beyond the delicious food & coffee...and beyond the very cool atmosphere...this place has a Kayak Launch behind it!! We've lived in Clarkston for about 8 years and wish I would've found this awesome place years ago.

UPDATE: Mediterranean Grilled Cheese, Iced Cosmic Brownie cappuccino & Vegan 🍅soup! SERVICE WAS EXCEPTIONAL! The BEST PLACE EVER!

LAST TIME: My absolute favorite restaurant! Amazing! I ordered The Malibu sandwich and an iced caramel mocha. This is the spot for SURE!

Absolutely adore this place! The menu is full of tasty options with tons of vegetarian choices. I've been coming here since '98, and even though it's been a minute since my last visit the vibe is still as peaceful and chill as it always is. Super cool curios, books, games and vintage art. Artisans wares and music. Such a cool place to relax with or without a friend. Always up to grab a bite and a Matcha from this cute little cafe'.

This is one of my absolute favorite cafes. I love coming here. I highly recommend their jerk chicken sandwich, a black bean burger, or one of the breakfast items. My husband loves the chocolate chip pancakes!!! I can't say enough good things about this cafe and their amazing employees.
