Sweet Soul Kitchen

I enjoyed the food. Its not the best soul food ever but it did taste flavorful and fresh. It was a clean place. Its a small little spot but its bright. They were generous with the food and it was fulfilling. I would recommend this place and hope they do well. I do believe they are worthy of support.

Food is actually really good.. a little salty but super good. Mash potatoes.. wonderful and Mac and cheese! The green beans and the meatloaf was good but a little salty as well. Corn bread is delicious and super moist.

Awesome and quaint place. The staff was very friendly and the kitchen was open so you could see them prepping the food fresh. I got the fried chicken one day and fried catfish another. Both those items are prepared to order so it was piping hot and delicious! Bring plenty of floss because the zesty corn on the cob will get stuck in your teeth, or save it for a snack later HAHAHA!

Seasoned to perfection so there was no need for extra salt or hot sauce. The pound cake was soft and moist. I'll try the peach cobbler next. All the vegetables are prepared vegan friendly so there was no meat in the greens, but still good. The mac and cheese was creamy and the kool aid was thirst quenching!

Ive ordered several times and unfortunately food has been consistently disappointing. Corn bread is tasty but vegetables are very Salty. Most vegetables/potatoes taste as if they come from a can or box and are seasoned to spruce them up. Mac and cheese is not recommendable.
Overall food is lacking but the service is good and restaurant is clean and inviting.
