Mac's Place

Really good breakfast options with pricing to match. Fast service, with kind staff. Stopped by off the highway and would recommend for a bite to eat!

It's a smaller place but packed with character. The interior is covered in signs with clever sayings on them and our server kept up entertaining slightly sassy banter with the cook when she wasn't working a table (doing a good job checking in with everyone even those in the back).

The food isn't fancy or anything to put up on Instagram (although, if the cook is new, maybe it'll get better), but it was good enough to hit the spot on a long drive North.

Our 2-year old made a bit of a mess and played with some of the decor, and instead of glaring at us as others elsewhere have done, she made us feel at home and at ease.

We stopped in at 4pm but if we're passing through again a little earlier in the day I'd stop in and try their breakfast.

Bonus points for giving coffee orders their own personal carafe to top up with!

Never disappoints. Live this little gem. Great food, good size portions, quick service, friendly staff and customers. It has a bit of the old diner atmosphere. A definite must visit.

I've driven by this place countless times but never stopped. We went for Friday Night Fish and wow! This place really impressed me! The fish was fantastic! Best I've had in a while. We both had the cod. Reasonably priced, excellent service and overall nice experience. We will go back for sure!

Love this place! Everyone in my family that I've taken here has liked the food, service, and atmosphere. Great prices too. We only come in occasionally though, when we're at our cabin in West Branch. It has a cozy hometown feel to it.
