Snowbelt Brewing Co.

On a road trip up north, about two years ago, my husband and I discovered Snowbelt Brewing Co. We love visiting breweries and every time we travel, we visit a local brewery (or 5....or more).
We absolutely LOVE Snowbelt! The location is cozy in downtown Gaylord. The brewery is a relaxing place for a beer and food (the food isn’t the best I’ve had, but I still give the brewery 5 stars). The beer is delicious and the staff is super friendly. What more could you ask for?
So-
If you’re passing through Gaylord, MI, make sure you visit Snowbelt. You won’t be disappointed. As for us, well, with so many breweries in Michigan and a few in the area (sort of) it’s not often that we go back to places over and over. Every time we pass by Gaylord, we make sure to stop either on our way up north or on our way home.

Priority 1: Beer was ok (needs better selection, it is a "brewery" after all). The two stouts they have are excellent.

2). Food was average. Not bad, but from what I had, (7in pizza), not noteworthy. The selection however, was poor. ( I imagine they structured the menu largely after what they liked.)

3). Service was lacking. The waitresses/bartenders were pretty ????‍♂️, but don't seem overly concerned with customer service.

Overall, not a bad place to go to. Suggestion for the owners: more bier. Better patio.

I think this place has the potential to be better. I wish they would capitalize on it.

Amazing beers at great prices. The menu for food is awesome too! Give the tester for waffle a try!

Great place with good beer and awesome food. The pretzels and beer cheese were phenomenal! Best beer cheese I've had in awhile. The pepperoni and bacon pizza was good as well.

This is a real cool place in little Michigan town called Gaylord. Right on the main strip, with a nice patio and nice service. Didn’t come for a drink, but rather the food. The menu is the right size, and the food was pretty good. The only reason it isn’t a 5 star was due to the small portion. Other than that, if you happen to be riding through, it’s worth checking out.
