The chicken Francesca was amazing and one of the best chicken dishes I've ever had out! Service was amazing and the view of the lake and sunset was awesome! Will definitely be going back to try more dishes!

Tale of two places: One is a place with the best view in Grand Haven, with a modern look and very friendly staff. You literally are paying for the atmosphere I believe as you're definitely not paying for the food. On second thought, you do pay for the food, and you pay a lot for what you get. Five very small oysters for $15 (Smallest oysters I've literally ever been served and I've eaten hundreds of the them). I really think this place is charging for the long construction project on the beach, and making up the profits in overpriced small plates. The pizza is the best deal and worth the price. The 'Gibson's French onion soup' is worthy of the name that attends it. My steak was perfectly cooked, and as advertised 6oz, but costs at much as any local 12oz steak. The dining area has horrible acoustics. It's louder than a pub in there. I would recommend they consider adding sound board to the ceiling, but not if it's going to cut the oysters down to three for $15. I'll say it again though, you're paying for the view, one of the best in west Michigan, let alone Grand Haven. The upstairs bar is amazing and tons of fun!

Great place and a great view. Excellent wood fired pizza BUT I think it is ridiculous to charge a $5 split charge for a $14 pizza. Why not put split charges on the appetizers too? If I only eat half and ask for a to-go box will you charge me a split fee because I might share it with someone at home? I understand charging a fee when you provide an extra plate, divide an entree and perhaps provide additional salad or sides. NOT for pizza.

And I have to agree with other reviewers - the acoustics inside are obnoxious. Don’t go here for a quiet date night. You will never hear each other over the noise of other diners.

My wife and I each had a great glass of wine. Had oysters, soup and 3 small plates. Good oysters, although the order only came with 5 which is a bit odd. Seafood soup was decent. Scallops were good. The other two dishes - duck and octopus - were just terrible, and we have ample comparisons. Probably the worst preparation of these two dishes we have ever had. Disappointing.

Place is beautiful. We will come back for the bar and scenery.
