Long Road Distillers - Grand Haven

This review is solely on their food, I have not tried a drink yet.

I went in with a good friend and we each tried the chicken wings. They were delicious and prepared perfectly. These are not "bar wings", so beware, your taste buds will need to be ready. Best wings in town, easily. I live downtown and I've been everywhere, believe me when I say the wings are excellent.

Our waitress was very nice, very spot-on with her service. The chef/owner stopped by to check on us, and a hostess even popped in to refill water. We were there on a Saturday afternoon during a busy time in Grand Haven, and the service was excellent. I felt like they understood how to take care of people, which you won't find from any of the bars that share that section of the block in downtown GH.

Can't wait to go back and try another item from the menu, we saw some tasty sandwiches being served.

Special note: they have a raised deck for street patio seating. This is an excellent touch. The Theater Bar and The Grand and Dee-Lite have street seating which has decrepit iron that I've seen fall apart. Long Road Distillers has the best street seating downtown, easily. It was very comfortable. Everyone walking by was intrigued and seemed jealous that we had such a great perch.

Was really excited to hear Long Road was opening a place in Grand Haven and I was not disappointed. The drinks are well-made, the food is great and the they created a great environment where you can relax with friends and enjoy some great cocktails. Looking forward to my next visit.

Stopped in while vacationing in Michigan. I’d heard great things about the Grand Rapids location from friends and I am pleased to say the GH location seems just as good. Friendly staff, solid drinks, and tasty food...what more does one want?

Excited Long Road is in Grand Haven! Love what they’ve done with the space and the food and drinks are great. An amazing atmosphere and such creativity with drinks (love the punch bowl and the cocktail in a shell)!
