“We ordered takeout for dinner from here last night because we live right down the road and have been wanting to try it! I was unfortunately a little disappointed. The food we did get tasted great, but we had ordered the family meal with two meats and three sides. They were out of the first meats we ordered, which was understandable because we ordered later in the evening. We subbed it out, no biggie. When my husband got home I was SUPER disappointed to see that they forgot to give us the BBQ sauce that we ordered, since that’s kind of the theme. I had subbed Texas toast for dinner rolls because I really don’t like dinner rolls, and when I opened the container I was disappointed again to find that they missed that sub and we got dinner rolls. We used BBQ sauce that we had at home and moved on because we didn’t want to go back for sauce and bread, but then half way into our food I realized that they left out one of the sides that we had ordered as well. Honestly, I wouldn’t order pickup here again. I probably would stop in to grab a bite though, the Mac and cheese was awesome and the jalapeño cheddar kielbasa was amazing. Brisket was alright, I’m sure it’s great with the sauce it’s served with. Being newer I’m sure the kinks will get worked out with order accuracy.”

“Came here to check it out for an upcoming event. We had an appetizer and salads for lunch. Appetizer was a pimento cheese with chips, crackers and toasted breads...good starter and plenty for 2 people to share. We had the roasted beets salad, was good but would prefer a sweet dressing to offset the bitterness of the greens, onions and blue cheese in the salad. We also had the Fig salad that was perfect. We added grilled shrimp to each salad which ended up costing $12 for 4 small shrimp. That seemed steep. Total bill for 2 salads, 8 pieces of shrimp, an appetizer, an iced tea and a coffee came to $80 before tip. Our server was excellent and attentive. Though not on an actual beach...The place is definitely representing a beach house. Bathrooms could use a touch up. Overall sandy Point Beach House has a very casual and cozy atmosphere during lunch time. We were told it gets pretty busy during dinner service.”

“This was a nice clean restaurant with a friendly wait staff. If you've ever had the original Giordano's deep dish pizza in Chicago you know how good it is. If you haven't then you have to try it. This pizza has two layers, the bottom layer is where the cheese goes. Then there's another layer of crust with the sauce and toppings on top. Because it is so thick it takes about 35 minutes to cook so plan accordingly. This delicious pizza is worth the wait. I was introduced to Giordano's pizza in Chicago as a teenager and loved it. I live in Florida where only recently have we had a Giordano's pizza and it's about 45 minutes from where I live. When I travel I always look for a Giordano's to get my occasional fix. I highly recommend this restaurant.”
