The Old Christmas Station Restaurant

Fabulous, real world, scratch made food ... authentic European old-world atmosphere ... service was personal and genuine. If you are looking for fast, run of the mill mediocre food, DO NOT COME HERE. This was about enjoying great food, amazing European beer and and a quiet ambience without the noise and bustle of the touristy intrusion. Looked it up on line to review it and was NOT disappointed! Will definitely make it a regular Frankenmuth experience every time!

The food was excellent. The servers were very attentive and accommodating and a little slow as the restaurant was full so that was understandable. Presentation of dishes beautiful. The owner/chef came out to converse with us. Enjoyable Highly recommend.

Visited for our anniversary dinner steaks were delicious even after my steak had to be sent back because I ordered it well done and it was red in the middle. Disappointed that there was no fresh bread or salt and pepper on the table. When I mentioned this to the server she said we should have asked for the bread and salt and pepper. I don't think for the prices they charged I should have to ask for bread or salt and pepper. That being said I would return but only for a special occasion. Kinda of pricey but food was good. Still think they should provide the bread and butter and salt and pepper without being asked for it.
