To nothing in their control, but we ordered at 645pm finally got main course around 730 took one bit of steak, then had to go to restrooms. Tornado warnings
Our food sat at table for at least 15 minutes! Came back to table and was told they were closing so were given to go container's. Only gave us 15.00 off bill, should of been at least 50% in my eyes. But again nothing that they could have controlled, waitress was very nice
Steak was great, the shrimp & potatoes cold and had send back. Beer wasn't very cold either. The bar was sticky. And a little less than an hour before close, they had rugs rolled up in front of bathroom door so I almost broke my neck walking out. They need some quality control. Steak was good though.
Busier than I anticipated for the time we arrived (6:30PM on a Sunday). Bit of a eait for a table but had a party of eight (8) so sort of expected. Server very friendly but a tad slow (again, very busy so not a huge issue). Food was tasty & beer cold so all and all good evening w/ family. 3-star rating seems a bit low but not intended.
I go here every year when I visit my hometown, but this last experience was not that great. Not because the waitress was rude, she was very nice. The host was very polite. But the manager. Was not. I went Saturday, 3rd, 2019. In the late afternoon. The manager was not rude to me personally. But me and my friends were sitting very close to the kitchen, and i could hear the manager screaming at the employees and being very disrespectful to them. Still will go, but that dude made it uncomfortable and made the staff obviously upset. Shout-out to Ryan S., who is usually me and my friends waiter. He's awesome. Always has such enthusiasm and really listens to the customers and their requests/needs.
Being a vegetarian I am always a bit skeptical on places that specialize in steaks.
I am happy to report that they do indeed have some solid vegetarian options!
I started with with the traditional pumpernickel bread (always good), followed by the potato soup, and then the entree Cobb said (sans chicken), and finally the raspberry cheese cake.
Yep, delicious and vegetarian ????
