Hokkaido Japanese Steak & Sushi

4+ My wife Toni and I visited Hokkaido on Saturday, 10Aug19. They had a shift change while we were there, so we had two waitresses. Both of which were very polite and switched out in very professional manner. Our Teppanyaki Hibachi" Chef was Dan. He was amazing and completely entertaining. We had a great conversation and he went the extra mile with us. Once he realized how long we have been together, not to mention married, he made a heart and spoke to her through it. I think she liked that! Thank you Dan!!

Wasn't bad but bathroom was disgusting, dining area was dirty you could clearly see they don't clean well. Our waiter looked like the walking dead and didn't have much of a sense of humor. Don't like that you can't decide what kind of dressing to go on to the salad. I don't really know what's in the soup, but I did not eat it. The chef however was great. He kept us entertained and was funny and made an effort. I don't know his name and I feel bad but he worked at Genjis in midland he said and has been working there for 5 years. But he did great! Great asset to the restaurant. Definitely satisfied with the food he made!

Real good service . Employees were really friendly and nice. Chef was very entertaining when cooking our meal. I was very well pleased. Had a surprise birthday party there they even sang happy birthday!

Worth a visit! As other reviewers have said, the hibachi grilling is fun and entertaining. The grillers do a great job of entertaining while cooking - hard to describe but, let's just say you won't be disappointed! The food was also great! I was concerned the high ratings were only about the entertainment but, the food was very good. Yes, prices are a little high but, you're paying for the experience along with the actual food ;)
