“I rated 3 stars for average. This was my second time here. The food is pretty good but if there is a line behind you the cashier can get a little rude when taking your order. I understand trying to get people in and out of the shop (I've worked in a sandwich shop for 8 years when I was younger) but it should not sacrifice your level of customer service. Also my sandwich has been wrong both times I visited. I made substitutions and they are 0 for 2 at getting it right. I ordered a sandwich for a coworker. Requested no tomato. On the paper they wrote "no tom" but when the sub was opened there were thinly sliced tomatoes on the sandwich. Given the area is busier during typical lunch hour and they seem to be running a little short on the staff side.”

“Heard about this place first time at the Black Arts Festival last year when home visiting my folks. Was happy to see their store front when driving through the area. Wow, is all I can say. Didn't feel bad at all about stuffing my face with tacos AND fried whiting. Had leftovers for later. The spot is small. Lunch time was busy for this popular restaurant. The wait was worth it. Plenty of parking during our day time visit. Will definitely become a regular when eating out locally.”

Also It's a bit pricey for the area but there food is good. The staff is friendly and always have a smile on there face. Menudo is decent quality. Don't go to late because sometimes they close a little early. However, if you call ahead of time they will stay open JUST FOR YOU! If you like Mexican food and don't want to eat garbage fast food in the area then you need to visit this place.”

The addition of the meat in the sauce gave the steak sandwich an off flavor. I'm not saying it was bad, it's never bad, but it's not "right". Can the old sauce also be made so we can choose which we as customers want?”
