THE VIEW at Uri's Landing

Slightly more fancy than we were expecting. Very good food though. Water tastes a little strange.

Made reservations for five and the table was all set to go when we arrived. Our orders were placed and the entrees were served quickly by our server, Trisch. The food was excellent as always and the view is just what you would expect living on the Great Lakes. Kudos to Susan and family for giving me a nice birthday dinner.

The food is delicious, with a good variety of menu choices. Friendly, warm, comfortable, appealing atmosphere. Lovely view of water, sky & marina.
Just as we arrived, we learned that there had been a power outage due to a passing storm, but were most grateful for the welcoming, accommodating staff. Due to circumstances, we were told that the food menu was not available, but that we could have drinks. Shortly after we got our drinks, our server happily told us that in addition to drinks, a soup and salad choice was also available.

We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious seafood chowder, crackers, & delicious salad.
In spite of the circumstances, and knowing that the restaurant would be closing if power wasn't restored, the staff really made the best of it, and remained friendly & accommodating. We felt relaxed & not rushed. Uri's is my favorite dinner spot, whenever I visit nearby Lexington, from Lapeer County.

First time here and I was very impressed. We had about a twenty minute wait so we sat at the bar and had a drink. They have a good selection of tap and bottled beer and a wide variety of liquors. We were seated outside, a little cool this evening but a great view of the harbor and a fun place to people watch from, the cutout you stick your heads in was below us. Food selection was also very good. I had the seafood boil, which was the special and it was phenomenal. The wide had a seasonal salad and shrimp and she was very impressed as well. We will likely be vack.

Love everything thing about The view at Uri's Landing. Just as the name... the view is totally gorgeous. The owners is a very friendly, caring lady. She takes time out just to make sure your happy, with your whole experience eating in her restaurant. Food is the best, from the way they present it to the taste. They are there to please. I keep going back so it has to be good. Really I eat there quilt often. I promise you will not be disappointed. Lunch or dinner.
