“Wow so yummy! I love fried chicken! We have several people that have told us about their fried chicken dinners on Sundays. Finally on mother's day my husband asked me what I wanted for dinner and I told him I wanted to try here. The chicken was done to perfection, so crispy and moist. The mashed potatoes were creamy the gravy was real chicken gravy (not to many places seem to serve the yellow gravy anymore). I am not a huge coleslaw person (I'll eat it but it's not my favorite) but their coleslaw was so creamy and so good! It is a little hole in the wall, nothing fancy but the food is so good!”

“Hand tossed old school pizza served up by some of the nicest people you have ever meet. We ordered two medium pizzas late on a Sunday night and they ended up giving us two larges because it was the end of the night. My daughters, who are supper picky, loved their pie. The only thing I would change would be more garlic in the sauce. I have vampires running around my neighborhood and excessive amounts of garlic keeps them at bay.”

“Good, But Pricey! This was my first time trying this place and I must say the food was a bit pricey. I paid over $16 for 2 sandwiches and 2 small sides which I thought was a bit much, and the menu that I found on google was old and had inaccurate pricing (I am not able to get on facebook while I'm at work, so I could not see the updated menu). However, the food itself was delicious. The brisket was tender and flavorful and the cheeseburger had a nice char-broiled flavor. Unfortunately, the cheesy potatoes weren't what I expected. The menu doesn't give a description of what the items are and for some reason I was expecting chucks of potato with cheese sauce or shredded cheese over them, but instead I found them to be mashed potatoes with cheese mixed in. Still pretty tasty, but again, not quite what I was expecting. The lady that took my call, who I can only assume is the same woman who served me, was very friendly and helpful. While the price is a bit of a deterrent, the food was very good and I will definitely be back to try the other meats they have to offer.”

“I have driven by this place so many times and never even knew it was here. It is attached to a seemingly "discount" motel. I didn't even know there was a restaurant down the hill. We came here for the first time for my father-in-law's birthday as this is one of his favorite spots for special occasions. He has been here for New Year's Eve, anniversaries and birthdays. I now know why this is one of his favorites. Everything from chicken tenders and fries for the kids, fried fish and chips, entree salads, clam chowder, pastas, chicken, shrimp, crab cakes, scallops, steaks. Everything we ordered was so well prepared, beautifully plated and absolutely delicious. I haven't even seen swordfish on a menu in eons and this was the best I have ever had. Their muscles were fantastic and that's coming from someone who doesn't normally like them. Their almond crusted brie was phenomenal and the meal was finished off with creme brulee. It is a bit pricey, but for food this good and a setting this nice, it is absolutely worth it.”

The food has never disappointed me and the service is always good. We had my husband to be’s funeral luncheon there back in April and it was wonderful.
