“Was trying a to order from Lakeshore for large picnic but it was Tues and wasn’t open and then tripped over this place and was pleasantly surprised. They did an amazing job, very tasty ribs and pulled pork, Mac and cheese great. It doesn’t look like much but it’s family and the food was really really good. Will try to get to Lakeshore but may be just better off skipping the line, ordering take out and heading to the shore w this.”

There were fruit flies by our table, and hovering my beer. Not stellar”

This one is average (better than most other chain restaurants ) and well worth the eating experience. One concern is all the loose hair that is not contained in a hair net. Hope they do something about that.”

“Was the first customer of the day. Thought maybe they wouldn't be ready. But they were. The person that seated us was basically ok. Thought maybe she would be our waitress. But surprisingly it was the assigned bartender. He was absolutely very nice and accommodating. Made me feel good even though we had our grandson with us. Of course, the food was up to par, when being first of the day. Back from our home state they know us by name. Almost felt that way here in Michigan. So all in all it was a very good lunch. I wanted to try a different or new place but my boss (wife) likes Chillies. So she was right again. I don't mind.”

“Excellent Steaks and all the trimmings! I don't much care for peanuts but if you do there's plenty for you to nibble on while you wait. I much prefer the soft rolls and cinnamon butter though! They are so soft and delicious and just melt in your mouth. They make them there fresh all day. You can watch them make them. It's a very relaxed atmosphere there. The only drawback is all the TVs everywhere. But the fo[d is TOP NOTCH. You'll be glad you tried it!”

“Potbelly is one of my favorite sandwich places, and they serve up a great sub. My last visit there really showed how great some companies can be. During the process of making my order the woman in the drive through told me there was an issue with my sandwich and offered a free drink or side for the inconvenience. I declined, saying these things happen, no worries. Upon receiving my sandwich I was surprised to find a coupon for a free next sandwich. Pretty cool for a company to take care of their customers and encourage repeat business.”
