    I was in Hartford during the dinner hour and decided to visit Kickstand Saloon. The location is a bit obscure (I think they need a large lighted sign out front), but if you locate this small town gem, you will be very pleased. The wait staff was very friendly, efficient and made you feel right at home, and she provided a very welcoming atmosphere. I dined the 1/3 pound cheeseburger and added a side order of jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese. Very delicious! The decor is geared towards Harley enthusiasts, but I'm sure all will be made to feel at home. The long tables are indicative of serving large groups, but I was alone and never felt alone. For the price of McDonald's, you can have the real deal at Kickstand Saloon.
