“My favorite Mexican food in South Haven. Period. I usually get take out chicken nacho with extra cheese on top. The owners are amazing! Friendly, great pricing, delicious food... Truly a gem to South Haven. What more can you ask for 10/10”

“Great tasting food, limited menu with specials every week or two. Love the mac and cheese, great homemade sauce that you can have put on any meat items, great fried chicken. I haven’t tried everything but they are very friendly and answer any questions you have. The owners are really nice and great cooks. Caramel cake!!!”

“5 star service! I My cup was never empty of coffee, Cece really took care of us! I did notice that the food served had ingredients lacking that were listed on the menu. I will definitely be visiting again soon!”

“Good food, simple and easy to understand menu. (I wish more restaurants were a 1 page menu and not 10 pages). I had the house burger and the meat was juicy and seemed like decent quality, I enjoyed the sauce and toppings as well. The fries were some of the best I've had in a restaurant. Presentation of the food was also good. Most of the menu is quite cheap, you can get a solid meal here for the same price as fast food. They also serve breakfast and other goodies. Service was quite good and I like the casual and clean atmosphere.”

“Food is a bit over priced for being bar food, otherwise I would eat there every day! Having said that the service there is fantastic. The ladies that bartend there have superb communication skills and are always quick to keep the drinks coming. I would say 5 star for bar staff. 4 star for food. The food isn't bad at all, it's just not what I would consider 5 star. Solid 4, though.”

“For reals... best beer, food, and staff/owner in the greater K-zoo area! Plus really good homemade sodas!! All homemade sauces and spices (the Barn Jam is seriously legit!). There is a great story behind the brewery and building has that perfect brewery feel. This is 100% worth the drive, from ANYWHERE! We will be back!”

“Outstanding food. We’ve enjoyed their offerings for two years. If you are looking to support a local restaurant this is a great place to start. All of their menu items are terrific and fairly priced. You will not be disappointed Support your local businesses, they are the mainstay you’re your home community. We’re all in this together.”

“I ordered a cake a weekend ago, and it was a dairy free chocolate cake. When I went in, everyone was extremely nice and grateful for the order. It was a really nice hometown feel. The actual cake was delicious. I will never go anywhere else but here! My husband agrees and my two little girls, best in town.”

“Very good ice cream. I enjoyed it very much. It was a good price for what we got. Also had biscuits and gravy. My wife ate most of the diced potatoes in it because they were made so well. The sausage gravy was delicious as well! Definitely going to return to try more food and ice cream.”

“The brisket sandwich was awesome, but the sides were not. The cornbread was not fresh, and it was really tiny, just like the other sides we got. The potato salad was about two tablespoons in a condiment container, and was the same quality you would find from Gordon’s or Walmart. My husband really enjoyed his two tablespoons of beans. Without good sides of a decent portion size, it wasn’t worth the $60 we spent for two adults and one child.”

“They are a family run business and offer a wide variety of Italian homemade foods. We've tried many of their items and always want to go back for more. They really need to lock the side door in winter months, because it's extremely cold when dining inside. We recommend this place to friends all the time. 5-STARS!!!!”

“The experience we had at bird dog was awesome!! We went on a recommendation from a friend for a great food experience on a date night out. We had drinks, appetizers and meals and couldn’t be happier. Our service and meals were fantastic. We had read reviews and yes the restaurant is small and there is some noise but it’s all happy noise (people talking, staff working together, light background music). The decor is simple keeping the food experience as the “main event”. Food is prepared fresh, drinks were top shelf. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience great. We love “small menu” dining and Bird Dog will definitely be a place we come back too!!! Thank you!”

“Love these shakes like a treat that is only 250calorries. I have figured out the trick to this place is to prefer before you leave to go get the drink other wise it takes like ten minutes for them to make your shake and it just seems like a long time. They let you call I. Your orders though which is awesome”

“Cool place! It's an arcade! We recently had takeout. Pesto burger (single) and One with everything (double), fries, chili and fried Mac n cheese with a chocolate shake. The burgers were Awesome, the meat was perfect, they were deliciously messy, be hungry if you order more than a single! The fries are great. My son and husband loved the chili, I must be a conventionalist as it wasn't quite my thing. The fried Mac n cheese was okay. The shake was yummy! The service is the chef and he knows his stuff! We will be ordering again soon! BTW...no root beer.... :(”

“Charming, lovely spot for elegant, yet simple, and delicious, bites! The trout is excellent, plated beautifully, and wholly satisfying for the portion. If your appetite calls for more, the 1/2 chicken was serious business, and still a beautiful twist on a classic dish. We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem in downtown Bangor, Michigan. For soon to be mainly locally sourced and farm to table food, the price was reasonable, and the atmosphere is very relaxing and easy to enjoy. Highly recommend stepping out of the norm and into an elevated taste. Thanks to Brad and his partner, Dustin for taking a huge leap in this corner of Southwest Michigan. Keep on keeping on, my friends!”

“True partnerships with nature are hard to find these days but Primal Woods is the real deal. Love the maple syrup!”

“The atmosphere is OK. The staff are not attentive. The food is loaded with onions and peppers but they don't put that on the menu. My quesadilla was soggy in the bottom from too much sauce(which tasted like watered down taco sauce)and it was just one small tortilla folded over with meat, onions and peppers. It didn't even have any cheese. Not worth the $10 they charge for it. The prices are a little high for the amount of food you get. My side of beans were very runny and the rice is a little dry. I'm not sure if that is what authentic Mexican food is supposed to be like but I'll pass on this one. My husband however said he loved everything. They have not been open long so hopefully they will get better. On the plus side they did give us a small basket of tortilla chips(greasy and unsalted)that tasted homemade with salsa(watery and tastes like only cilantro)for free on our table when we ordered our meals. If you go be prepared to spend between 10 and 20 dollars for food that is mostly onions, peppers, and watery sauce over meats like ground beef, beef tips, shredded beef, chicken, and fish(the tacos).”

“Started going to Four Winds pretty much when they opened. Starting in New Buffalo and now Hartford. Only twenty minutes away makes a great evening out with a little gambling and dining. Timber is also great dining at Four Winds, great portions at reasonable prices. Love their Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich and Onion Rings, mmmmm.”
