Bao Space

Filling was great and moist, bao was nice and fluffy. I got the beef and radish soup and it had a great flavor too it and the radish was mild but good.

Really good baos, would 100% come back again. The ones with pork and ones with beef are personal favourites; the first bite sent me straight back to my childhood home, the land of baos and milk tea. The meat to “wrapping” (包子皮) ratio was really good, unlike some other local places where there’s barely any filling. The baos were very fresh (which would explain the longer wait time of 20-30 minutes).

I tried their mango milk with tapioca. I believe they use some mango purée. The mango milk is worth trying but not a favourite. However, the tapioca itself was perfect and I would argue better than most tea shops in Ann Arbor. Not too sweet and not bland— just right.

Overall, the place is very cozy and can get busy. Worth the wait :)

The moment I walked in and saw a small asian child running around the kitchen I knew this place would slap—and slap it did. The food is affordable and the baos, soups, and dim sums are all gaseous. I recommend the Berkshire Pork Buns and the Shrimp Triple Delight Buns to start.

For all the different kinds of food we can get in the area, dim sum and Bao is something that was sorely missing, and we are happy that this restaurant opened!
We had a few items off the menu, and among those the Pork Bao Buns and Xiao Long Bao were outstanding, and we can't wait to try the lotus chicken and the other bao options. While I haven't been to China, we found these as good as what we've had in Toronto and San Francisco China towns.

Came with my family and ordered a second round of buns bc they were sooo good. Their appetizers were also very flavorful, and their dishes all look aesthetically pleasing. Definitely worth a visit.
